how to change a bidet faucet ?

The bidet toilet is designed to be installed by yourself, which any competent person can do. Over 90% of our customers install the bidet seat themselves. It is very simple, so in this article we will tell you how to install the bidet toilet seat. The installation takes about 20 minutes.

The installation of our bidet seats is so simple that no additional plumbing work is required. The bidet faucet is connected to the existing cold water supply behind the toilet, and since the water heater is located in the bidet seat, no separate hot water line is required. There is also no need to install a separate drain, as everything simply flows into the toilet and when the toilet is flushed, everything is done in the existing piping.

However, the bidet seat needs electricity, so make sure there is a power outlet nearby to power the seat.

The process of installing a bidet toilet involves three steps: (1) removal of the existing toilet, (2) installation of the new bidet toilet, and (3) connection to the water supply. Each of these steps will be discussed separately. All parts required for the installation are included in the scope of supply.

1 - Remove the existing toilet seat.

If you close the seat and cover, you will notice that there are two covers directly behind the seat. These covers cover the mounting holes in the toilet bowl, into which the screws that attach the covers to the bowl are inserted. Use a flathead screwdriver to turn these covers to expose the screw heads underneath. Then use a screwdriver to loosen the screws.

Once the screws are removed, lift the toilet bowl up and it will immediately come off. You will now see your toilet without the seat with the two mounting holes visible just behind the toilet.

2. Installing the new bidet seat

To install the bidet, you must first install the mounting bracket on the toilet bowl. Once the mounting bracket is installed, the bidet is installed directly onto the mounting bracket and secured to the toilet bowl.

To install the mounting bracket, position it over the two mounting holes on the back of the toilet. Then insert the rectangular rails these rails hold the screws in place into the left and right sides of the bracket. Then loosen the screws through the rails and holes to secure the toilet bowl. Tighten the screws by adjusting the nuts underneath them. a bidet converter kit can be so important and necessary to change. So follow all the steps to learn more about it.

Once the mounting bracket is secure, push the bidet onto the bracket until it locks into place. When the bidet is securely fastened to the bracket, you will hear a click.

3. plumbing connection

Once the bidet is attached to the toilet, all that remains is to connect the plumbing. A T-connector or "manifold" is provided, which divides the water supply into two different paths. One for the flush and one for the bidet.

If you look behind the toilet, you can see a pipe that runs from the floor to the bottom of the water tank. This is the supply pipe that fills your toilet bowl every time you flush. The valve that protrudes from the floor plate is called the angle stop.

First, turn the knob clockwise to turn off the water supply. Then unscrew the supply hose connected to the angle stop. Connect the T-connector directly to the angle limiter and reconnect the inlet hose to the top end of the T-connector.

This will leave a gap on the side of the T-connector that will supply water to the bidet seat. Attach the supplied bidet hose to the side of the T-connector and connect the end of the hose to the bidet.

Make sure all connections are tight. Turn on the water supply by turning the knob counterclockwise and check for leaks. That's it! You've just completed the installation and are ready to enjoy your new bidet!
